Keep watching a clock for straight forward for 5 minutes
Sit still for 15 minutes on a chair and do nothing.
Do some journal, take notes, make a todo list!
Count backward from 100 to 0, skip number if seems easy
If possible, read a long book and read slowly!
If possible, do a little excercide. Good for mind and body!
Take a 5 minutes meditate, or a bit long if you can!
Create a "Not to do list" of things you want to avoid
While talking to someone, try listening attentively
Found my work helpful? You can make my day ^_^
Sit still on a chair for at least 15 minutes. Just sit still, do nothing, and not even think about your phone! That's completely forbidden! In fact, you just should feel bored
×If something pops up in your mind in the middle of doing something else, do not just jump between tasks. Rather, you should right it down on a paper. That's how you can just transfer the thoughts from your head to the paper. This way, your focus remains same on the current task you're doing.
×Count from 100 to 0 instead of countring from 0 to 100. This way, you can't just auto count subconsciously. You need to keep your focus on the counting factor, because you're doing something unusual. But this will became automated as well day by day. If you find it easy, try skipping number like, 100, 97, 94.
×Excercise is not just good for psysicall health, but for mental health as well. Taking a short excercise can improve your ability to focus on one task and reduce distraction.
×Reading short articles, news and other online content is reducing our focus life span greately. For this reason, reading a long book slowly can dramatically improve your ability to focus. Because reading long books required a lot of focus itself. Otherwise, you would miss plots.
×I have nothing more to say about maditation. It's such a good habit to built that, it can almost help you with anything from mental health to abily to think clearly and even improve your focus.
×While it's good to have a to do list to organise your task greately. It's also a wise choice to make a "Not to do list". Because this is how you can determine what things you should avoid straight forward in order to stay on track
×While having a conversation with someone, basically we contribute as much as possible in order to continue the conversation. But listening takes a lot of focus. In fact, this is one of the activities where we stay the most focused. That's why practice to attentively listen only and continue saying short words like, hmm, okay, no so the other person knows that you're listening.
